Just a little note. This only allows the US military to detain people thusly. Not the police or FBI. So, it doesn't affect the vast majority of Americans.

However, I get your point. A US citizen should be able to enjoy the rights guaranteed in the Constitution regardless of where they are, or what they are doing . . . even if they are coordinating with AlQ.
