I would like to see scientific spending get an exponential increase. I view it as one of the most profitable and reasonable investments a government can make.

We can see all kinds of things we can't get to. Maybe someday, but I doubt anyone living now will get there.

I view government science and exploration spending as very nearly the only worthwhile things things they tend to get right. They are sending a climate observatory out to L1 in a couple of weeks, which is cool. I'm more interested in watching SpaceX deliver something way out into deep space, beyond the orbit of the moon, than in the thing itself, but that's just my own fanboy stuff.

While were on the topic of seeing things Im loving the success of dawn and new horizons. I'm just hoping they hop on the Jovian e ploration missions they've been thinking of.
