My personal thought is that if there is any Canadian held by anyone, anywhere, my government will do whatever is necessary to free them. Otherwise what is the point of belonging to the gang?
Also, I want every dead journalist avenged.

What a unfortunate event, but I'm sure these folks knew what they were getting into when they entered Afghanistan.
