More slaves went to S. America and the Caribbean then came here. They were also sold into slavery mostly by other tribes living in Africa.

I think the topic of slavery should most certainly be in school history books. They should also have all the history stated like the fact the democrat party defended slavery and the newly formed abolitionist republican party opposed slavery, while democrats formed the KKK when the war was over to terrorize blacks and anyone who voted republican. Don't forget to teach about the Muslim Arabs too and their slavery.

Slavery is still alive and well in certain parts of the world, that's what makes America racist, lol.
