As for the "Space Force" (LOL!) it simply does the same thing we're already doing but that trumpkins are completely ignorant of. Who are we going to fight up there? The Chinese, the Russians? Just promises to set off the same MAD situation as if we fought them down here. And the sad truth is the Chinese could finance their own silly space force out of petty cash and laugh as we bury ourselves further into debt trying to do the same.

And yes, I realize you simply must be trolling at this point, but it's a fun enough topic to play along. "The security of our future depends on meeting the challenges of tomorrow with answers today." Not even subtle. Sounds like something the screenwriters of Starship Troopers would have set to marching band music.

My guess is if the space critters can get here, they can probably kick our ass. Its also my guess that they may have outgrown the Neanderthal need to kick ass. Hopefully. lol.

It would be entirely possible that if alien intelligence were capable of observing Earth and the constant, uninterrupted mass murder among the human species, along with its unchecked destruction of Earth's climate, which sustains life altogether, it may well conclude that there isn't any intelligent life on Earth and just move right along.
