i think there's a vast difference between ISP as common carrier sending data from A to B and a private entity being forced to stand up anything as "common carrier"

So it's okay to force ISPs to be blind on the data they send, but inappropriate to force hosting companies to be blind on the data they host, assuming it is legal? I don't get why you say there is a difference. It's a private company "platforming" content because they have to.
