- Early on Dem engagement was low because...well look at the world right now
- GQP had one good poll and tried to capitalize off that (if they can't win on the facts they can substitute laws and create a fake zeitgeist - see all GOP elections)
- Texas Abortion law likely scared the absolute shit out of lots of women - this could have long term ramifications. Regardless whether the new law is challenged, removed, paused, etc the mississippi case is going to get a f**k ton of attention. To be heard next Summer and ruled on just before the midterms...how much will this help the GQP? This could be an enormous blunder. Any purple states could easily swing blue if Roe v Wade is overturned.
