seemed to me to be the easy pick. i would have went with Duckworth or Whitmer personally, but I understand that George Flyod changed the calculus. well i guess Harris is Ridin with Biden

Not sure how this helps with the enthusiasm gap - Kamala as a prosecutor didn't do much to help her with her candidacy during the primary. I too would've preferred Susan Rice but she has her own baggage. Could've bucked the trend altogether and gone with Elizabeth Warren?

Just not a lot of great choices out there.

i think she's a fine pick. like i said, I would have preferred Whitmer as I think a competent no nonsense governor response to coronavirus is a major plus, but i understand that we have multiple crises going on so it can't just be about pandemic response

now it's just a question if trump, annoyed at Biden picking a woman taking over the news, will announce that Nikki Haley will be his running mate followed by Pence going around the country telling everyone why she's the best person for the job
