1) Bad idea to begin with, accountability is nice and all. But for highly specialised jobs should it be exposed to popularism? Should a person with no experience in theory be allowed to have a job that requires a high level of expertise, like say the administration of a hospital, or say policing?
2) Lol mostly independents (a lot of them former police) got elected. Disaster for every party. Why about 1/2 the time Lib dems just could not be f**k, they saw this one coming.
3) John Prescott doesn't get to be sheriff of hull, sadface.
4) Despite various narratives (well, mostly Labours), shows exactly how approximately most of the British public are insanely jaded and could give a f**k about our political system at the moment.
