If one were trying to avoid high taxes, is the UK really the best alternate?

Isn't that like trading in your Hummer for an Escalade to save on fuel?

This is probably the best argument against Britain becoming a republic I've seen. just imagine the Queen legging it for the Cayman Islands to save a few quid on her tax bill. There would be trouble, I can tell you.

1 million euros is not enough to retire on, I wouldnt even consider that rich. Well off maybe, but not rich.
