How to immediately fix America

Alot of that is needed now/ASAP. The problem is its like putting Al Capone, John Dillinger, Bernie Madoff, etc, in charge of their own rehab. My addition to the list is no more bailouts for the supposed TBTF's. There seems to be a complete lack of accountability in big govt these days. That definitly needs fixed.

3- Heroin, and other hard drugs are immensely dangerous.. There has to be limits on some things.

4- we need domestic surveillance, that's was one of the original jobs of the FBI.. We have many criminals here in the US... But that's all we should need, the FBI..Dump the NSA and Homeland..

8- fix the tax laws, but to completely eliminate Fed Income Tax on 90% or whatever of the population? No..

13- the USSC seems to work.. It is gores back and forth between conservative, then liberal.. .. But for the most part it evens out..

15- if you take the money out of politics and the elections I think that would fix many, many problems we currently have..So we wouldn't need % of the votes, term limits, etc.. So I guess # 12 could be yes, or no.. According to if we are willing to try and make the politicians only beholding to the people who elected them, and not to the lobbyists and corporations who pay for favors.

Eric, regarding #8. Please elaborate on what you envision re a tax on wealth. We for all practical purposes just dismantled one, the estate tax. Also if we limit the income tax to the top couple of % of earners I don't think enough $ can be raised to run our country, even if we slashed spending.

Also on #7, which corporate tax "loopholes" are you referring to?

4- Normal Americans? I'm not sure what you mean by that... Anyway criminals, traitors, would be assassins, organized crime, foreign countries spies, etc.. we got to have some domestic protection..

8- Make it simple...Just tax every financial class of people one rate.. No loopholes, no deductions.. 0-$30,000 pay 5%, or whatever... $31,000 to $75,000 pay 8%.. And on up.. The more you make, you pay 2-3% more than the previous level up to a Max of 18% or so..

13- see # 3..

15- even if every single one of your suggestions was implemented doesn't mean everything would be fixed and all disagreements and problems would disappear.. If the country and the parties are split 50-50 on gay marriage.. So be it.. It's work out one way or the other eventually.
