McDonalds is just a side effect of a broken social model, so it really doesn't pay to discuss their theories on living standards... no one should live in filth in anticipation of better financial results at some point down the road regardless of their age or vocational competence.This thread is essentially an opportunity for a sociopathic laissez fair circle jerk to commence...

I'll make you a deal, Indy. Since people making minimum wage also often qualify for government subsidies (housing, food stamps, Medicaid, etc.), how about we end all government subsidies for people who are able to work, and increase the minimum wage so that one can live on just that money? Not live "comfortably", mind you, but get by.
