The moron calculated the tax Google should pay as 20% of the company's income whereas he should have calculated as 24% of the company's profit. The article made no mention of what Google's profits in the UK are.
Do you also not understand the difference between income and profit? You seem to be struggling with this.

Based upon the numbers out there they were clearly using the term income with profit interchangeably.

That is compelling data. I would be totally convinced that The Guardian got the numbers wrong were you to post what Google's profits were in the UK, if different than as reported in The Guardian.

Oh this is a good one in there today! There is some commie village in Spain about which some prat has written a book. Apparently a life toiling for 6.5 hours a day in a field as a farm labourer for $65 is a 'utopia'. 
What a twat. He also fails to mention all the subsidies that this mental case of a village get from the EU, national and local governments. According to the wiki 65%-75% of the village's income is from these subsidies.
