Seriously though, while I might not want GWB saying "Let's go git 'em, bang bang", I would like for our President to say, "Mr. Putin, I am not negotiating. You will stop supporting unrest in Crimea. If you do not, the US will back any European-led initiatives, up to an including military action. If Russia directly attacks any NATO ally as a consequence of the situation in Crimea, that will be interpreted as a de-facto declaration of war against that country, and against the United States. If, however, you wish to see Crimea follow a tradition of self-determination and are as concerned as we are by the recent violence, we would welcome a joint US-Russian peacekeeping force to help Crimea through this period of unrest. The decision is yours, Sir."

If it was Bush v Clinton I am pretty sure Clinton would win even if Bush was more sensible and was a better debater.

People would get into the voting booth and the associations would be too strong and people would pick Clinton.

Its like if Coke or Pepsi exchanged flavors and people had to vote on what they preferred. The brand would get them.
