Stupid reasoning for such a smart man. He's tossing his a few billion here and a few billion there into his favorite charities rather than wielding influence benevolently over 100s of billions by buying elections.

And if he really hates money in politics he should come up with a plan to get money out of politics and then buy elections to make it so. Just sitting on the sidelines complaining about it isn't going to help.

And BTW that link in the OP only goes to 2010.. AND much of the money being spent in political races now no one really knows who the donors are. The individuals can hide behind groups and organizations, and even charities..
No one really knows ho much any of these billionaires are spending..
