Or we could just get rid of the stupid death penalty, which prevents absolutely nothing, and has resulted in innocent people being executed or rotting on death row for decades.

On a side note, it's interesting that legislators, with all the issues that need attention in this country, give their full attention to how we can better kill somebody instead of, say, provide people with adequate health care.

Introducing a bill and actually pushing and giving time/attention to an issue are not the same thing at all.

I was commenting on the things they do pay attention to as opposed to those they don't.

Or let me take it a step further: one would think this mishap (it's not the first) might cause some of them to re-think the death penalty in general. Instead we get: okay how can we kill them better?

That said, our march backwards continues. Hell why not bring back the guillotine? Or maybe we can have beheadings in Chop-chop Square like the Saudis do.
