This is obviously an upset, but from what I reading this 7th district is very conservative. And let's face it Cantor was already kissing up to the TP and playing the super conservative role anyway..

I just read this BTW... It looks like in 17 trips to these 2 steakhouses the Cantor campaign spent $168,000 !! Averages out to about $10,000 a visit.. Cantor is a guy who wants to cut foodstamps and HC to the poor and MC, but him and his staff can spend $10,000 at a restaurant in just 1 visit.

We have a sick, twisted political system.

The Cantor campaign's expenditures, as recorded by the Center for Responsive Politics, show it spent $168,637 at Bobby Van's and BLT Steak as of May 21. Brat's campaign spent just $122,793 overall through that date.

Tsk tsk. Granted he apparently had no clue he was in trouble but how about spending some of that money on lit and television?

As time goes on and more and more comes out about this upset I'll bet some of Cantor's problem is he comes across as a stuck-up, out of touch, prick, CEO type.. No doubt the immigration issue hurt him, but I'm wondering if he just took it all for granted, and acted like an out of touch CEO.

That's not a good way to come across in any campaign..
