well what i'd like to know is how many resources they're actually capable of dedicating to this effort, v. current gulf states. yes the latter may officially agree to the US's goals, but has anyone actually analyzed how much private funding goes to terrorist groups? would isis really be able to top them? again, other than official legitimation for jihadist projects, not really sure how isis could go above and beyond the current situation.
the main issue if anything would be providing training facilities, but couldn't those just be bombed? in which case we're back to yemen, somalia, etc.
and yeah, like i said isis's hubris will result in some severe payback. let them try and export as much terrorism as they possibly can, so once their state is completed it gets pulverized.
