Not really. I mean, I wasn't a fan of GWB Senior but Jesus compared to his idiot son he was Einstein. People that I know who've dealt with him said he was a pretty smart guy.
As for Jeb, I don't want him to be president necessarily but the oddest thing is he is/was known in and outside the family as the "smart" one, so why Dubya was instead chosen to run for 2000 is beyond me. Unless it was that Cheney knew he could walk Dubya around on a leash whereas Jeb probably wouldn't tolerate that.
Anyway, to the point: he's talking some plain truth here. Will the GOP listen?
