Our middle eastern foreign policy is like that episode of EVERY 90S SITCOM, where someone spills a tiny bit of apple juice on their (insert parent's beloved piece of furniture or prized article of clothing) and then they try to clean it off but the cleaner has an adverse reaction to the material and the stain just spreads, so then they try some old wives tail old remedy which involves peanut butter or red wine and now it's REALLY f**k up so then they throw it in the washing machine but it turns out it's dry clean only and now it's such a f**k disaster and the apple juice stain seems trivial as hell at this point.
