I think the only positive value they expressed was anti-nationalism

Pretty sure it's meant as a billboard for IS...
Been reading more about the al Khansaa Brigade. Apparently their role is mostly as morality police, enforcing these sorts of values within Islamic State territory. They've also been tasked with administrating a lot of the sex slavery business withe Yzidi captives, staffing checkpoints, and doling out violent punishments for infractions. They've been running that side of the operation since last summer, apparently.
It's the norm over there. Hardly theoretical.
