I think he went all Teabaggery in order to gain national attention.
Much as I'm going to catch grief for it, people in Louisiana don't pay too much attention to D or R behind your name. Mostly just the politician and his/her politics. Our "R"s run from right-wings like Vitter to middle-of-the-roads like Cao (one term, but still). Our "D"s are center-left to damn-near-right.

As it should be. So Jindal thinks he can go national by tea-bagging?
Funny because all the TPM candidates don't do too well. Romney lost what was a very winnable election by trying to pander to them (and plutocrats). Apparently Jindal has decided to double-down.
