It's not flipping out at all. It's calling their bluff. Why let them continue to act like bullies and try and destabalize the planet with their antics?

Of course it's flipping out. You want to commit an act of war against a nuclear state because they legally flew in international airspace, and were immediately escorted by British fighters, who could have taken them down with zero effort at all. I mean they didn't even have their own fighter escort.

This is Russia thinking we can be trolled, and the British PM stands up and basically laughs that shit off. Perfect reaction.

In the meantime, US and British forces will likely do some trolling on their own, and this will be forgotten like the thousands of other incidents of this nature between Russia and the West. Not so if we flip the f**k out and take down a bomber in international airspace, like we are some sketchy Russian soldiers with a surface-to-air missile.

Why even bother scrambling jets then? That's flipping out if anything is. Blowing up a stupid bomber just tells them to put up or shut up. Who cares about international airspace man? Why even bother bringing up that they're a nuclear state?
