it's revisionist to claim democrats were the driving force behind civil rights act. look at the votes. look at what they campaigned on. Nixon was smeared by the democrats as a member of the NAACP when he was campaigning in the south, he then owned it because it was the moral thing to do.
What you said is that the democrats have "always" been gay friendly. I was explaining that is hilariously cute.
Hillary Clinton's husband signed the same law that indiana passed a few weeks ago. The Same Law. Only, Clinton's applies to the whole country. Indiana's is just Indiana.
As governor, her husband also made MLK day and Robert E Lee day the same day in arkansas.
