Personally, I don't care what they do. Our meddling in the past is a main reason the WTC is no longer standing. And yes, people profile others from other groups, sometimes even their own. I also try to be as fair as possible by offending everyone as equally as I can.

I kind of like that. Yes, selfish or self-centered.

I always am taken aback when they'll say things like: a plane crashed off South Korea today, killing 280 people on board. Four of them were Americans.

Who gives a toss what they were? They're all people. Am I not supposed to care if there's no Americans on board?

Racism is a very specific thing. People need to stop trying to make things racism that aren't.

Racism is specifically the belief that one race is inherently superior or another is inherently inferior. Making sweeping statements is not necessarily racism, it is stereo-typing. Something our brains are hard-wired to do. Often stereo-typing is negative and thus influenced by racism.

Putting the US above other nations isn't necessarily racism. It could be nationalism. It could be realism. It could be minding our own business and recognizing the sovereignty of foreign nations.
