I heard a interesting take on gay marriage brought up on the radio that I don't think gay men (or women) have considered, or even know about: the pressure one gets from their significant other to get married and the ensuing beat down that build up can entail. I don't know many men who necessarily "wanted" to get married without a little bit of pressure from their SNO or even mother. The wedding is really for the wife and her mother, not the guy, this is known.

LGBT have always had an easy out for something straight men have been dealing with for a long time. Welcome aboard our gay friends, but be careful what you ask for.
