We are 1/3 in recent wars and that's excluding Afghanistan, which will inevitably make it 1/4 when they go back to slaughtering each other and stoning women after we leave. WE WILL NOT BE GREETED AS LIBERATORS. Let the Japanese defend themselves, maybe the Chinese will stop acting tough when they have those little fascists across the sea with nukes. Let Korea get nukes. Honestly, if the south koreans have the balls to use them it puts that issue to end before the north gets a missile that can hit the east coast. This is about AMERICA FIRST.

1/3 and it will be 1/4 when Afghanistan fails. The fact is we used to never lose wars. Now we lose them all the f**k time because we should never be involved in them in the first place. I remember the founding fathers saying something about disastrous foreign entanglements? Every country that's sits under out nuclear umbrella is another foreign entanglement waiting to happen. The koreans can beat the north without us getting involved. Japan is the third largest economy in the world...why do we have them sitting on the sideline again? The Japs have flaws but being useless in a war against the Chinese is certainly not one of them. If we want to start winning again we have to play to f**k win, not put the entire f**k team on our back time and time again and then wonder why we always feel sore.

Gotta remember though: People used to be defeated, and sign surrenders. Then the world would move on and get back to business. Now they just switch into 4G mode and start planting explosives here and there because they know eventually enough blood will get splashed onto CNN to force a political end to the conflict. Winning to them is simply not being eradicated. Hell. The US went to war with Iraq in 2003, and that government and its dictator were overthrown and executed respectively, bringing a quite literal end to the country in any political and military sense. And it was still a loss, on the grounds of insurgent activity during the subsequent occupation.

"Winning" doesn't mean anything anymore. The only way to "win" if your the US is to be in and out extremely quickly and define success according to physical destruction with no consideration paid to political and economic factors. If you are some third world shithole, the only way to "lose" is to have your entire population exterminated, so that there is nobody left to throw a rock and declare victory when he US inevitably gets bored and leaves.

Winning and losing is so twentieth century. We need to stop trying to sugar coat this shit, and present a dichotomy of outcomes.

Japan lost. They were defeated, they surrendered honorably, they signed a treaty, and they picked up the pieces and emerged as a key player and a lovely country in the coming decades. Respect that. It doesn't happen anymore.

Iraq lost as well. But nobody seems to have realized it, because lunatics kept blowing their own country up for years after the fact. Nothing to be done about that.

Japan surrendered honourably? We f**k nuked them, twice. We firebombed the shit out of half the island. And the Japanese in turn were the original suicide bombers, the original psychopaths who beheaded POW's, and actually attacked the US. That was a completely different war, and to be frank, we were willing to slaughter as many japanese as it took to get them to bend the knee. We are not willing to do that anymore, and we should stop getting into wars pretending that the other side will buckle without us exterminating every one we come across. They will not.

You guys are WEAK and Trump is really the only one that get's it. War is f**k war. If it's worth fighting for, it's worth killing for, it's worth exterminating an entire country for if that's what it takes. The Japanese and the nazi's earned that response. The Viets and Iraqi's did not. Trump is the only one with the foresight to recognise that if China invades taiwan or sinks some japanese ship, its NOT worth america going to war over, because it's not worth trying to wipe out half of China over. Maybe it is to the taiwanese or japans, but let them fight that war on their own.

Our foreign policy should be defined by what is in OUR interest. Playing superhero to every fledgling democracy or mediocre regional player is NOT in our interest because it leaves us with an unending amount of obligations of the sort we cannot meet, as evidenced by out 1/4 record in recent wars.
