It's working.
Canada has the greatest strategic positioning of any nation state in the world. We are the only state that has successfully integrated American and European values in a consistent way, against the Chinese and Russian threat, across an America-sized land. We are the only country that will put up and shut up each and every time, without hesitation.
Even if we get taken over by Americans, we will utterly change them. 35 million "Canadian Americans" would alter the political landscape forever.
In a hundred years, Canada will be the greatest power on earth.

No you won't. If you did that, you'd lose more lives than the American Civil War, and you'd be obliged for several centuries.
