even if the russians were not behind the app failing, their disinformation trolling is in overdrive
there's all sorts of crap talking about this thing being rigged. some claiming that the app wasn't uploading the results, and they compared a screenshot of what they were trying to send to what they were finally told they sent and it was different. i don't know if that's true, but i do know i saw people reporting on it
like TR said, americans do not learn from experience only from catastrophe
this whole thing is a f**k disaster at running elections. maybe the UN should be overseeing this shit, f**k
i had heard on NPR last week that the app was not being tested at large for security reasons. so basically they were saying they were not confident in the security, and therefore were using the great standby that never f**k anyone before security by obscurity
they spent 60k on an app. never tested it. didn't tell anyone how to use it. and here we are.
iowa has in their state constitution that they must be first in primaries. they can go f**k themselves. first, f**k caucusing. second, and i understand the need in this large country to have multiple staggered primaries, the primaries should be on a rotating list of states, each with a good mix of states from various regions, and roughly using population as a guide, so that EVERY state will, once every 20 years or so, be first in the primary
