Lol at you people thinking the president can speak the truth about race without too many butthurt people in this country.

He picked terrible examples but its not race-baiting when problems actually exist.

Race plays due to perception of races you have through the eyes of the media.

When I go out to eat at restaurants, especially higher end ones, I always get second looks like I can't afford where I'm at. I get shitty service becuase they assume well he's black i'm not try because he's not gonna tip. So I end up giving a great tip for shit service, just to prove that black people do in fact tip well.


I went to the movies not that long ago and it wasn't a popular movie, it was the 100 foot journey, not many people in there. This group of white people, I'm assuming a mother and her 2 daughters, went to go sit in the movie and sit next to me. One of the daughters is sitting next to me, I'm not really caring one way or the other,, the mother looks at me, then whispers something to her daughter than they call get up and move. I had on some kahki's and a polo shirt with a pair of spurries. But hey all black people want to rape young white women right?


The amount of undercover racism that black people face in america, a white person would not ever be able to fathom unless you yourself go to another country where you are the minority and are hated. A white person would have to move to an Indian reservation or move to the middle of Chad or something like that to get a true feel for what it is like to be a minority in a society that is not built for you. And just because you lost a job to a minority becuase of AA or some black guy on tV screamed that he doesn't like you doesn't make it at all equal.


I had a black AP Calculus teacher, he was brilliant, and I would go to class and I would screw off and clown off, but I was pretty smart. He pulled me aside one day after class and he told that I'm doing exactly what society wants me to do and when I get out of school I have to work twice as hard to get half as much. He was right.

there is deeply entrenched racism in this country. the fact that a public figure gently reminds us of this fact and is hysterically accused of "race baiting" demonstrates quite effectively that a perceived racial status quo exists in the minds of many americans.
