They definitely have much less to lose than us, which is scary. But all the great men in the past simply don't matter right now. Napoleon didn't have divisions of airborne soldiers, satellites, gps or the worlds greatest logistic entity. Just different times man.

Saz i lived in china for almost 2 years...you're spouting the same semi-racist shit meme that most americans actually believe.
the (modern) Chinese value their own lives and the lives of their families more than most of their American counterparts. They know very well the awfulness of the civil wars, invasions, and civil/tyrannical reign of shit that fell on them prior to 1978, it traumatized them as individuals and as a society. frankly they love their kids more than we love ours. they love the fact that times have been good and that many of them are starting to have a decent standard of living. they aren't looking for a fight and don't want one because they know suffering and loss and for the first time have something to lose.
also....they're terrible soldiers.
