I'm reading this guy Brat got a ton of free press and advertisement from the conservative talking heads like Beck, and Ingram.. Day after day they were humping this guy.. With that kind of free publicity the money discrepancy between the 2 candidates probably really didn't matter much..

I was shocked when I saw Cantor had $5 mil to Brat's $200,000 and Cantor lost... But now? It ain't so shocking anymore. Day after day the airwaves were being filled with talk show hosts singing Brat's praises.. And Cantor's negatives... We all know ads work...And this sounds like it was nothing but ads for Brat..

I'm so tempted to turn this into a lecture on media buys and how a smaller budget properly focused on the correct market segment can have truly miraculous results. But I won't.
