Not genocide necessarily, the Scots are still around, same with the Basques, Brugundians, Hawaiians etc....but it does take a long time.

saz....I don't agree with ex's position.
I think we should have focused a lot more civil/military resources on Afghanistan in conjunction with our European allies*, but I don't think we should have done the cultural reconstruction Ex is suggesting.
*or in the alternative just gone it, got OBL and got out.
