I've been over this. Because there is no useful purpose of such weapons whereas pistols have utility beyond being awesome to shoot.

You know what's so classically knee-jerk about the thread and the OP?
After this, do you really think only "liberals" are talking about guns? Not sure if you don't live in this country but you must not when you make ignorant statements like that.
The other thing that's classic about this typical response is the literal sentiment: "STFU!" when it comes to guns. And that's the problem I have with the NRA types--you can't even talk about guns before they start screaming and shouting you down.
Literally: don't even TALK about them.
