Lets wait a year or so to actually see whats going on. We need a plan thats affordable for all no doubt. What that plan might actually be is anyones guess at this time. But I still say whatever it is, the fat cat middleman needs out of the loop if affordability is going to be part of it.

I agree, and while the website is a debacle and Sebelius probably should lose her job, I hardly think a tech issue means: scrap the entire program.

I'm STILL wondering why we can't just have both: private plans for those who can afford it (or if their employers) can, a public one for everyone else.

Why should employers be responsible for providing HC in the firstplace. Every employee they have, has a HC deduction taken out of their earnings already. Problem is, they pay in ,but denied access. I say grant access.

Agreed again. The people who oppose single-payer scream that it's anti-capitalist or better: it's gov't running healthcare and that's not free market!

Of course, nothing screams "free market" more than saddling employers with having to provide your healthcare...

Some things like AHC actually transcend capitalistic profit. We just haven't figured that out yet.
