The "gay rights" debate is over because there is no such thing as "gay rights". All human beings have rights, you can't create rights. Whenever you introduce legislation or promote a topic such as "gay rights", you are creating a protected class of citizens in the name of equality, not liberty. This Arizona bill was also an invitation to create a protected class of business leaders on the basis of their religious liberties. This whole issue on both sides is an attempt to appropriate rights, which is dangerous to both liberty and equality
We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained, it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will yet swell the chorus when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
