a friend of mine moved to maryland after high school and has been obsessed with becoming a cop for years. he's finally trying to do just that, in baltimore. he routinely defends cops that shoot and kill people, the cop in this situation, etc. not only does the training turn cadets in to jumpy trigger-happy brown shirts, but that kind of police culture is really starting to draw a particular type of person to the force. it's no longer just your high school meat head looking to bust a few skulls and swing his badge around. it's attracting people who think murder is a proper policing technique.

Normal people don't want to be cops, so it makes sense they have become douchebags. Anyone educated with a degree wouldn't put themselves in a position of getting killed or pulling people over.

Maybe its time to get rid of all cops everywhere and just let people work shit out themselves. The good thing about all this , no shots were fired. Don't let the kid thing be deceiving, some kids around that age pack regularly.
