Im all for a national HC plan, we're only decades overdue,lol. I am aginst a brand new from ground up plan whan we already have a plan pretty much in place and collecting money. Also imo, the national plan, whatever it may be, should NOT have any special gold plan. One plan for all that covers all. The "for profit middleman" needs removed from the loop if there is any chance of affordable happening.
The hardest part of doing nothing is knowing when your done.

Right on SPM.
I'm not even a fan of Obamacare, which I feel is a giveaway to the insurance industry.
But let's not forget one crucial, crucial fact: these guys have spent years and 43 votes trying to destroy it.... and promptly offer absolutely nothing in its place. No alternative.
Anybody who says medical savings account gets the hose.
I'll also remind everyone that for eight years under GWB not thing was done to address this, and when Bill/Hill tried to do something the GOP strangled it in its crib.
