Sigmund Freud defined four parts of a psyche; the id, the ego, the superego and the stratego. The Stratego being the highest form of morality and scientific thinking.
If guns are not outlawed, the in-laws will have guns.

Our entire purpose as a society is to make a profit. There is no activity that occurs among us that is not subtly geared toward that end. The only humanistic behavior that occurs in our territory is that of social rejects such as the homeless, gangs, outside artists, nuts etc.

The vaccination question is not one of public safety, but of enforcing conformity to the demands of industrial society.
If it were truly your safety you were concerned with you would have a vaccine yourself and wouldn't even think to try and force it on others.
