How about we give the whole northeast to Canada, it's a former shell of itself anyway. Nothing but dilapidation, and economic stagnation. I'm sure the canooks can improve things that democrats so utterly failed at.

Reorganizing North America, politically, isn't a bad idea.

NE USA to Ontario over to Eastern Canada becomes a country.

Praries, Minnesota, all those central border states becomes a country.

The South gets the south.

California, Nevada, Arizona and the hot desert states form up.

Makes more sense economically and politically.

no it doesn't. the united states is culturally much the same, and similar to canada. there are differences, sure, but not that great. if anything bringing canada into the fold is the one that makes sense. still, NAFTA has eliminated many of those benefits (as in they've already been realized), but i'm sure they would be much to be found. i wouldn't advocate a currency union without annexation though as the eurozones problems are indicative of what can happen

I think I'm much closer culturally to another professional living in London, or Beijing, or Madrid, or Munich than I am to many Americans, especially Americans in flyover country. The cultural overlap is pretty damn small between a lot of groups in the US.
