When Rand Paul decided he needed to find out if the AG knew the President wasn't allowed to whack Americans on US soil without due process, I think the AG must have underestimated just how stupid Rand Paul was.
"He can't possibly be asking me something everyone in America knows, can he? He can't really be wondering if I know the President is not allowed to start bombing criminal suspects in America. Especially since we have been arresting and trying suspected terrorists in America in our courts for years now, and not blowing the shit out of them. So he must mean something else."
So Holder drafts a letter and tells Rand Paul his question is a hypothetical since such things do not occur in America. Never have.
But then Holder must have figured Paul needed other obvious things taught to him, and so he taught Paul that the President is allowed to defend the US during an attack, like, say, Pearl Harbor and 9/11.
Little did Holder know Rand Paul is so retarded that he would take the Pearl Harbor scenario as an admission by the Attorney General that the President could kill US citizens on US soil without due process.
Thus Holder was obliged to write a SECOND letter to the retard using small words and easy to digest material explaining that no, the President is not allowed to kill Americans on American soil without due process absent any imminent threat.
How did Rand Paul make it past eighth grade? Is this the kind of ignorance we can expect from a Texas education?
