And the problem is, as other nations have shown, that taking guns away increases crime, it doesn't decrease it. So how can you POSSIBLY make the argument that the gun is the problem when removing the gun from the homeowner results in more violent crimes? Guns don't increase crime.

If you don't secure your weapon and someone gets it and uses it to cause damage you are totally culpable.
