Your argument seems centered around looking at it from the perspective of a trader: let's make money off this now. That's fine. I understand that. I'm looking at with regards to long term viability, viability as a currency that could possibly replace or co-opt existing currencies, and as a major currency. While the Euro is moving around quite a bit these days Bitcoin just isn't practical. What business would realistically choose bit coin to handle all of its day to day? None. It's not a stable enough store of value. Why is that?
Because people are dumping money into it right now and taking it out when they want to. People are speculating on the currency.
And as an aside, any time anybody tells me they've got a sweet gig going online...I automatically assume it's too late. And I move on.
