if you didn't meant deploy then your argument is even more meaningless. they cost less because they're budgeted less. that's about it.

As for contractors...lol? you mean DEFENSE contractors? the ones that don't belong to any branch of the military?

you can't follow a simple argument can you? i brought up deployment, i didn't say it was the only cost.

as for equipment that actually costs money, like tanks, planes, trucks, etc, most of what you get is stuff designed by or for the other branches. as for difference in spending...in what way? that there are fewer marines, so they spend less? that they spend a TON on propaganda and advertising to appear to be relevant still?and, again, contractors are a military wide thing, not an army thing.

the only thing i can think of is that you are/were a marine and have been so totally taken in by the propaganda they feed you in basic.

i wonder why the army required more attention in the last decade than the other branches...

could it be that it's because the army has done 90% of the work in regards to iraq and afghanistan? yeah, that's absolutely why.
