Asking a question while providing a source that contradicts yours... can't be a strawman. Seriously this has to be explained to you?
Here you're making the argument that the U.S. Catholics are a huge force to be reckoned with; when I posted about the Pope/Jesus/capitalism thing everybody here said "Meh, the Catholic church, nobody pays attention to them in the U.S."
So that is not a red herring, as I explained it to you clearly once already--and the contradiction involved now that you're making this claim.
