Do you even know what the Haqqani Network is? For all intents and purposes, they ARE the Taliban. We in the west make the historical distinction for purposes of context, but the tens of thousands of Afghan and Pakistani fighters under them all call themselves Taliban. They don't call themselves the "haqqani network". They themselves don't make any distinction, the Haqqani family makes no distinction, and Iran would have no way of making it even if they wanted to. It's all Taliban. Iran bankrolls the Taliban, and by extension, they bankroll the Haqqani family.

Wow...............so let's just review at this point. You have no idea what the word "ally" means or who our allies in the middle east are, you can't or won't make the distinction between a nation's government and it's people, you think the monarchy of Saudi Arabia is a bigger terror financier than the governments of Iran and Pakistan, we now see that you have no idea who or what the Haqqani network is, and best of all, for a pretty large chunk of our conversation you seemed completely unaware that the Iraq war has been over for almost a year now.

Yeah, I'm done. You've insulted me more than once, but honestly just your presence in this discussion is an insult to anyone who has the tiniest shred of working knowledge about middle eastern politics or US foreign policy.
