Seems to me that when a nation gets past a certan point in regards to cost of living their population growth flattens. China will probably do that in a decade or so. Also the fact that there are more Chinese men than women may bring about something interesting over there in a few decades to come.

China will have to go through an economic collapse in the next decade because its economy is based on stimulating unneeded construction to artificially inflate growth.

Until another form of economic model can beat capitalism then its here to stay, so why keep it bottled up with regulations and keep people from making real money with sky high taxes? Its like nailing your feet to the ground before running the 100 yard dash, its stupid.

i dont think capitalism is obsolete. in post scarcity society in the future sure. it might not produce teh best results now but that doesnt mean it's obsolete.
