Why no publicly funded abortions? Why should abortions be treated differently from anything else that some people oppose on religious grounds but the government has a part in?

The last thing the U.S. needs is more unwanted children using up resources through foster care, public assistance, health care, child tax credits who will later become unemployed adults costing money in food stamps, incarceration costs, healthcare ect.

The government should make abortions free and readily available.

Because Philly, religious people who are "pro-life" don't want their tax dollars used to "murder" babies.

They want to make sure that those unwanted babies are born so they can then scream about how they don't want their tax dollars used to provide anything for those babies or their mothers/families, which are now parasites on society who need to go out and get a f***in job.

Babies who grow up in those environments don't do so good, so these same people DEFINITELY want their tax dollars to incarcerate these now grown-up babies when they commit crimes. Up to and including, of course, funding the execution of these now grown-up babies if they commit a capital offense because that's what Jesus wants.

I guess the simple solution is to make sure that contraception is available easily to we can eliminate or bring down drastically the need for abortions but SURPRISE! These people usually oppose that too. Or sex education in schools. Unless the only thing being taught is abstinence.

Of course when their tax dollars are used to rain down death indiscriminately on brown people in other countries, where can they sign up?

Also, for the Jews let's require that food stamps can only be used to purchase kosher food. If you're going to slap God in the face with your dietary choices you can do that on your own dime.
