Don't know exactly how old he is now. But, I'd say juvi jail until he's 18, then transfer to minimum security place where he will have to take college courses online. His release date will be his graduation date. 5 years probation after that.

I think 20 years behind bars would suffice. He gets out into a world he can no longer function in and probably ends up overdosing a few years later on pills be bought with his parent's money. That would sure make me feel good if he had killed my loved one, assuming I decided against killing him myself.
