Why is the West supporting an apartheid vision of Israel?

One question I've never heard answered from either side is what happens after a Palestinian nation is established, is it a cold peace? Is there any attempt at reconciliation? How about anti antisemitism in the Muslim world, will there be a recognition from the Arab side of the state of Israel?

There seems to be no steps towards this because it seems the goal of the Arab world is not recognition of Israel but a slow process of chipping away at its legitimacy with the wider world, and isolating it so it's easier to attack. I simply do not believe that Palestinians would respect a two state solution due to their intransigence, and the Arabs using the case a way of keeping their respective populations distracted.

i think the nature of israel being used by arab states or their own purposes is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overblown. the average saudi isn't hung up on the existence of israel in his daily life. the average syrian, when facing the authoritarianism of assad, isn't lamenting israel's existence.

There are good neighbours and bad neighbours, which one will Palestine be? You seem dead cert that either a two state solution won't happen, or reconcilation, or both.
